1) When will I be able to register for FMF2024?
Registration is now open!
– You can check our registration page for your individual reservations.
– You could email to istanbul1@devent.com.tr for your sponsorship registration or group registration requests.
– Once you send an email, D Event (PCO)’s professional team will assist you to get registered as soon as possible.
2) When are the various registration deadlines?

– Early Bird Rates expire on December 31, 2023.
– All participants should submit their abstracts by March 4th, 2024 – 23:59 (GMT+3).

3) What venue will host FMF2024?
FMF2024 will be held in HALİÇ Congress Center, Istanbul, TÜRKİYE

4) How do I receive my registration confirmation?
Confirmation mails are sent to the email address provided during the registration process. If you did not receive your confirmation mail, please contact to istanbul1@devent.com.tr
5) Do I need a visa to come to Turkey? / I need a letter in order to obtain a visa. Whom do I contact?
If you have registered for the congress, you can request a participation letter for your visa application via e-mail (istanbul1@devent.com.tr ).

6) When will I be able to book a hotel for FMF2024?
– Regarding your requests, you will be informed about the availability of the hotels and will be placed according to that.
– You could fill out the registration request form for your accommodation request or
you could send an e-mail to istanbul1@devent.com.tr for your sponsored or group accommodation requests.
– Once you email, D Event (PCO)’s professional team will assist you to get registered as soon as possible.
7) Can I bring a spouse or other guest to the program?
– Only participants whose registration fee has been paid will be able to enter the congress center. If you want the person you bring with you to enter this area, you have to pay a registration fee for that person too.
– In case of accommodation use only You can book a double room for your accommodation. Visit our registration & accommodation page for single and double room rates.

8) Can I get transfer to destination?
– You can get reliable and comfortable transfer from the Istanbul International Airport to our congress venue, HALİÇ Congress Center, Istanbul, TÜRKİYE. Please visit registration & accommodation page for transportation fees.
– You could fill in the online registration form for your transfer requests or

9) What is the FMF2024 Refund Policy related to paid registration fees in the case of conference cancellation?
– All cancellations should be submitted to D Event Tourism (istanbul1@devent.com.tr ).
– For cancellation of registration, accommodation, transportation and/or any sponsorship made before November 1st, 2023, %10 of the total amount paid and any probable bank transfer charges will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.
– No refunds will be granted for any cancellation after November 1st, 2023.
– Refunds for cancellations made before this date will be paid to the accounts notified via bank within 60 days from the start date of the organization.
– Sponsor companies must have made all their payments before the event. 10% interest rate will be applied over the total invoice amount for each monthly delay that may occur in payments.
10) Can I make presentation in my language?
Official conference language is English. So all presentations must be made in English.
11) Regarding the oral presentation do I need to send it in advance as well or is it enough to bring it at the meeting?
We kindly ask all our speakers to deliver their presentations to the technical desk at least 1 hour before the scheduled speaking time. This will help ensure the smooth and timely flow of the program. We kindly ask all speakers to adhere to the speaking times specified in the scientific program so that sufficient time can be allocated for other presentations and discussions. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.
12) Is there a template for the posters? What are the dimensions we have to set?
All accepted posters will be displayed electronically in the foyer area on 3-4-5 May.
E-posters must be uploaded to the online system by April 15, 2024 at the latest. (You do not need to bring a printed poster.) Details are in the poster paper acceptance letter sent to you. For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us (istanbul1@devent.com.tr).
13) How can I get my congress participation certificate?
You can obtain your participation certificate as a PDF from the online kiosks in the registration area.
14) How can I get the congress book?
Congress book will be published on the congress website after the congress in PDF format.
15) What are the services included in congress registration?
Registration includes: participant badge, certificate of participation, entrance to the meeting center, participation in scientific meetings, coffee breaks and lunches included in the program.
16) What are the services included in accommodation?
Accommodation includes; “bed and breakfast” accommodation (Check-in after 14:00, Check-Out before 12:00 in the afternoon)
17) Is there an organization for dinners?
Please be advised that there will not be a special dinner organized for the congress participants. Each individual will be responsible for their own dinner arrangements and expenses. We recommend exploring the local restaurants and cafes in Istanbul, which offer a wide range of delicious and affordable food options. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
18) Oral Style Presentation Guideline
1. Bring your presentation data on a USB flash drive to the Speaker Ready Desk. Windows is the only operating system available for the presentations. If you have prepared the presentation data on a Macintosh, you are required to bring your own laptop with a HDMI adaptor. *For those wishing to show a movie, please bring your own laptop. You are also required to make sure that your data has not been infected by any virus in advance by using the latest version of the security software.
2. Please review your data at the Speaker Ready Desk and check whether all the data is shown properly.
3. Even if you use your own laptop, you are required to check your presentation data at the Speaker Ready Desk and bring your laptop to the technical desk in your session room, 1 hour prior to the session starts. Following the conclusion of your session, we will return your laptop at the operation desk.
4. The Speaker’s Ready Desk will be open at the scientific program dates and times. Speakers are required to present their information at least 1 hour before the session starts.
